Personal information

WidBar does not collect, use or sell your personal information. The WidBar website is a static site and does not include account login, forms, payments or user profiles.

Microsoft services

WidBar and its widgets are distributed through Microsoft Store and may use Microsoft platform services. Microsoft may collect, monitor or analyze information according to its own privacy policies.

Calendar accounts and Google user data

The Calendar widget can connect a Microsoft 365 or Google Calendar account, or subscribe to an ICS calendar address. Connecting is always something you start yourself, and the widget asks Google only for the list of calendars you are subscribed to and the events inside them, so that it can show your day on the taskbar and create an event when you ask it to.

That information is used on your own PC and nowhere else. Events are held in memory while the widget is running and are never written to disk. The sign-in token is kept in the Windows Credential Manager, and the only things stored in the widget's own folder are the name and address of the connected account, so the settings page can show you which account is connected.

Calendar information is never sent to WidBar, to its author, or to any other party: the traffic goes directly between your PC and the calendar provider. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to train any model. Choosing Disconnect in the widget's settings deletes the stored token and the account entry; you can also withdraw access at any time from your Google Account's security settings, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Widget showcase

The showcase loads a public widget catalog to display available widgets. The catalog contains public metadata such as widget name, description, category, publisher, icon URL and Microsoft Store product links.

Third-party widgets

Some widgets may be created and published by developers other than Andrea Del Bello. I am not responsible for widgets, services, data collection, behavior or content provided by third-party widget developers. Please review the Microsoft Store listing and privacy information for each widget you install.

Links to Microsoft Store, GitHub, Discord, email and LinkedIn open external services. If you contact WidBar, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your message or support request.
